Prince George Colony

Prince George is an exclusive gated community located south of Pawleys Island.  The community is 1,900 acres and 1,300 are set aside to be naturally preserved.  There are only 150 single family homesites available covering 600 acres.  Prince George used to be a hunting estate and ricefields, and is now divided up into two sections.  The river side and the ocean side, each with their own amenities.  On the river side you have a River Clubhouse, boardwalk and 28 slip marina.  On the ocean side you have private beach access, a beautiful clubhouse with pool, a large park, tennis, basketball and volleyball courts, a lake, bikepaths and nature trails.

Prince George is easily accessible from Rt. 17 to Pawleys Island and Georgetown.  Each town provides lots of activities such as the waterfront in Georgetown with shopping and restaurants or Pawleys Island with lovely cafes, shops, boutiques, Huntington Beach State Park and Brookgreen Gardens.  If you are looking for more adventure and entertainment, Murrells Inlet’s Marshwalk and Myrtle Beach are just a short drive.
